What is World Tea Virtual Summit? 

A customized educational forum brought together virtually across three consecutive afternoons on October 12-14 to address the major challenges and opportunities in today’s global tea industry.  

Topics are selected by our World Tea team in collaboration with key industry experts to select the most important and valuable content and education to help support the industry in making the best decisions based on today’s market needs and demands.

How does it work? 

The Summit starts each day with a brief introduction and instructions on how to use the virtual platform which allows attendees to communicate with other participants by “chat”; and to make comments, leave feedback and ask questions so everyone has an opportunity to participate. You can also access downloadable materials as well as take part in live polls during each day.  

Each day will finish with a Virtual Happy Hour which is a fun and exciting way to learn about some of the latest products in the industry. One or more of the Virtual Happy Hours will include free tea samples that will be mailed to you in advance of the event. 

Please note that as this is not a tradeshow, there are no virtual exhibit booths. 

Who attends? 

Tea Shop Owners & Aspiring Tea Shop Owners; E-commerce Retailers; Brick & Mortar Retail (gift, specialty, etc.)

How much does it cost to attend? 

There is no charge to attend for any attendee that wishes to view part or all of the event. Register here

How many people attend? 

We expect 2,000 – 3,000 attendees to participate over the three half days. The format of the event has been carefully designed to create the best speaking topics, panel sessions and education to provide maximum value for participants – and without the annual World Tea Expo taking place this year, we expect the attendance to be high. 

I am an exhibitor or sponsor of the World Tea Expo that was cancelled – can I transfer my Expo investment into the Virtual event? 

Yes – there are advertising and sponsorship opportunities available to all World Tea Expo exhibitors and sponsors; as well as to any other suppliers that wish to participate. Options include: 

  • Sponsored education sessions  
  • Virtual happy hours to showcase your products in a fun and creative setting 
  • New product promotions – video promotions of your products presented between speaker breaks 
  • Daily sponsorship – your choice to have one full day of sponsorship, speaking and networking benefits that fits your needs

How much does it cost to sponsor the event? 

Programs start from just $995.

I cannot attend the summit due to the time difference in my location. Will the summit be recorded? 

Yes – a large part of our audience is global and we will record all sessions which can be viewed on-demand for up to six (6) months after the live event.
